Circuitwise recognised as a top 10 most innovative manufacturer

Circuitwise has been recognised as one of Australia’s 50 Most Innovative Manufacturers for 2024 by AuManufacturing, the publishing arm of the Australian Manufacturing Forum. Circuitwise was awarded a Top 10 Gold Award, beating 40 other Silver awardees and many other companies that did not make the top 50.

Circuitwise’s application focused on how greater productivity benefits can be obtained through continual improvement rather than a deep tech, “new to the world” approach to innovation. We showed how a cultural change program that empowered the leadership team to drive change in their areas of responsibility ultimately led to a three-fold increase in revenue while maintaining the same number of team members.

A good example of innovation by continual improvement was the implementation of a custom component storage system, with mobile shelving units featuring adjustable individual component bays that light up to guide the operator to the component’s location. This single innovation reduced kitting times from approximately eight hours to about 30 minutes. You can read a summary of our application in a follow-up article for AuManufacturing.
